Metropolitan Area Planning Agency, Safe Streets for All Action Plan
High Street led the data analysis for the Omaha (NE) / Council Bluffs (IA) metropolitan area’s SS4A-funded Comprehensive Safety Action Plan. The team prepared interactive public surveys to identify community concerns, created one-pagers summarizing key data insights for each element of the Safe System Approach, and developed an Esri-based High Injury Network that combined fatal and serious injury crash hot spots, data-derived risk factors, and locations flagged by the public. High Street then prioritized safety solutions, emphasizing improved multimodal safety for vulnerable road users.
