Oklahoma DOT, RAISE Grant: SH-37 BNSF Grade Separation and Multimodal Improvements

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT), in partnership with the City of Moore, Oklahoma, and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railroad were awarded $10 million to facilitate the grade separation of State Highway 37 from a BNSF railroad crossing in Moore, Oklahoma. The RAISE grant will also improve multimodal mobility through construction of a bicycle and pedestrian bridge and multiuse paths. The project represents a public-private partnership resulting from comprehensive collaboration to improve the safety, mobility, quality of life, and reliability of the residents, motorized and nonmotorized travelers of Moore, Oklahoma. High Street led the development of this 2022 RAISE Grant that included developing the project description, project history, cost estimates, and responding to the Safety, Environmental Sustainability, Quality of Life, Economic Competitiveness and Opportunity, State of Good Repair, Mobility and Community Connectivity, Partnership and Collaboration, and Innovation merit criteria.
