Maryland DOT, Maryland Transportation Plan
High Street led the development of the 2040 Maryland Transportation Plan. High Street led the development of goals and objectives aligned with MDOT’s vision for One MDOT as well as plan implementation strategies and demonstration of regional illustrative projects. High Street also developed long-term transportation needs for MDOT, Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) and all transportation business units (TBUs), the 20-year revenue forecast, and the federally required system performance report. Additionally, High Street oversaw the branding, public and stakeholder involvement, internal MDOT meeting facilitation, and existing conditions research and reporting. The public involvement process included the use of the MetroQuest survey tool and development of various presentations and boards for MDOT staff to use as they presented in regional meetings. The High Street team coordinated with MDOT and its consultant on the development of Attainment Report performance measures in alignment with MTP goals and objectives. High Street led the development of the technical reports and the final 2040 MTP designed document which was successfully adopted by MDOT in January 2019.
