Minnesota DOT, TRS Design and Impacts of Rural Roundabouts

High Street synthesized previously conducted research and national and state-specific design guidance to inform Minnesota DOT on policy considerations and best practices for non-motorized user facilities at roundabouts in rural settings. Research tasks included performing a literature review, developing and disseminating a state-of-the-practice survey, and facilitating interviews with practitioners to develop a Transportation Research Synthesis report to document key findings.
